    Description

    This Bohemian art glass basket is blown of cased amethyst opalescent glass and has a Optic Rib decor pattern throughout.
    Applied handle with applied stem and leaves are colourless glass.
    The applied rosette is also clear with a opalescent button in the center.
    Snapped pontil on the low footed base

    The darker spreading purple colour at the crimped rim is just like the
    genuine
    amethyst gemstone.
    Attributed to Harrach or Kralik, as they produced many baskets with applied decorative motifs depicting nature. Circa. 1900-1905.
    6" tall. The rim is 2.50" diameter. The base is 2" diameter. 4" wide, at best.
    The wooden base is not included.
