    AUSTRIA AUSTRIAN HUNGARIAN FRANZ JOSEF .835 SILVER ENAMEL PEARLS MOP BRAVERY BOX
    Unknown to me Austrian Hungarian 835 silver box. On the front of the lid is a miniature enamel portrait of Franz Josef, hand-painted with hot / glass enamel. The portrait of the Emperor is about 40 mm. in diam., and it is surrounded/inlaid by natural pearlsis.
    The entire lid of the box is inlaid with natural pearls.
    Around the enamel portrait are 2 very finely gilded Austrian imperial eagles.
    The box opens on hinges, and is locked with a spring mechanism, the button of which is decorated with a red stone. It stands on 4 very beautiful and fine legs. The side walls of the box are decorated with beautiful gilded European floral motifs.
    The box is approximately 11.0 cm. long, 8.3 cm wide and 3.8 cm. high, the weight is 241.6 grams.
