Saludos, esta subasta es por UNA (1) medalla tamaño Peso de plata 38mm y peso de 1 onza, su anverso muestra la bella fuente de múltiples niveles que adorna la plaza pública de este municipio, rodeada de rosales, y cual lee: "A 200 años de fundado por Petronila Matos" / "Bicentenario de San José de Camuy, conocida como Ciudad Romántica de Puerto Rico, 1807 - 2007". Reverso de la medalla muestra el escudo, famoso por ser dedicado al Sol Taíno, maxima deidad y Dios creador, rodeado de flores silvestres de la siempre verde montaña Camuyana, famosa por sus grutas, cavernas, y quebradas ( Las Cuevas de Camuy, Parque de las Cavernas, son sus mas famosas) El reverso, además, tiene una banda de nombres de gente ilustre: Rafael Hernández, Yiye Avila, La Cobra Jiménez, Johnny Rodríguez, José Rivera, Cheo López, Manuel Portalatín, Florencio Cabán, José Hernández, Pablo Avila, Amalia Arroyo, y Juan Brussi. Cada pieza viene con certificado enumerado del 1 al 200, y cápsula de acrílico para mantener su plata brillante.

Howdy! This auction is for one (1) commemorative medal of Silver Dollar sized 38mm, and weight of 1 Ounce, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the municipality of Camuy, Puerto Rico, U.S. zip code 00627
. Its obverse features a multilevel fountain at its main square, surrounded of wreaths of roses, and reads: "At 200 years of its founding by (Mrs.) Petronila Matos", "Bicentennial of (municipality of) Saint Joseph of Camuy (official Catholic name no one uses, since the American take over, now only called by its native Taino settlement's name of CAMUY) known as Puerto Rico's romatic city, 1807-2007". Its reverse features the town's shield, with 3 towers, meaning of a town within Spanish European Heraldry, and featuring the native american Taino Sun god, its main deity, as coming up from the Camuy river. The shield has mountain orchids at its flanks, common to this town's mountainous interior, which is riddled by caves and creeks and springs, and all this surrounded by a band of names of its famous locals:
Rafael Hernández, Yiye Avila, La Cobra Jiménez, Johnny Rodríguez, José Rivera, Cheo López, Manuel Portalatín, Florencio Cabán, José Hernández, Pablo Avila, Amalia Arroyo, y Juan Brussi. Each piece comes with a serially numbered COA, and it also comes with a protective plastic capsule to keep its silver shiny.
